The Flagellation, about 1400–1410Tempera colors, gold leaf, gold paint, and ink, Leaf: 18.9× 13.2 cm (7 7/16 × 5 3/16 in.)The J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, Ms. Ludwig IX 4, fol. 47v, 83.ML.100.47v. Thoughts: Note the man in back in pink tunic. Is his penis showing? And is it red on the tip?
