Widhwidh, also known as Widh Widh, is a village in Togdheer region of Khatumo State in Somalia. [1]
Overview
Part of the Ayn province's Buuhoodle District, the settlement is located 50 kilometres (31 mi) by road from Buuhoodle.[2][3]
Local control is by Khatumo State (formerly HBM-SSC or Hoggaanka Badbaadada iyo Mideynta SSC[4]).
The town was part of the 2010 Ayn clashes on 19 July 2010.[5]
Education
Widhwidh has a number of academic institutions. According to the Puntland Ministry of Education, there are 7 primary schools in the Widhwidh District. Among these are Geed-Dheer, Banyaal, Shululux and Widhwidh Primary
also there are two secondary schools also more pharmacies such as samatar pharmacy.[6]
