IMBD says incorretly he is born in Vlore because Vuno, the village he was born in, is part of the county of Vlore just like the whole Himare region. Anagnosti is definetly a native himariot. On the other hand, somebody like Bollano who is temporary mayor of Himara, is not a native Himariot, his wiki English article is very poor and his notoriety is extremely negative in Albania. If Bollano has a place in the article, Anagnosti definetly has a place.--I Pakapshem (talk) 02:19, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

ARBMAC restrictions
To me, this seems like the only option to get you to engage strictly in talk page discussion rather than edit warring. <span style="background:white;color:#007FFF;font-family:Georgia;">Nishkid64 </span>(Make articles, not wikidrama) 18:32, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Edit-warring

I see you're back, and have resumed your bad old edit-warring habits. In this instance, I noticed you reverted me instantly. Do you really think that is a good idea? We had total peace and quiet for the month that you were blocked, which ended the second your block expired. Tenet has ancestry from Himara, Albania does NOT have MEPs, (and isn't going to for the foreseeable future), and no one's ever heard of this Anagnosti fellow outside Albania. The fact that there is a page in the Albanian wikipedia means nothing, only English language sources will do. Consider this your final warning. --Athenean (talk) 19:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reported you for you outrageous edit on the fustanella article. Tenet has partial ancestry in a village of Himara and Nikollaq Neranxi is MEP in the Albanian parliament. No one has ever heard of Vasil Bollano outside of Albanian either. Read talk page. I will report you on your threats and behavior as well.--I Pakapshem (talk) 19:14, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Athenean, what do you find so revolting about the image from Fustanella? I don't see any major problems with this particular image, and I don't believe including this in the article will make it look less appealing. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 19:33, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The image of the old man wearing the fustanella is not revolting at all, but in actuality quite beautiful and a true representation of the fustanella. Athenean's problem is that the image is of an Cham Albanin man wearing the fustanella and in his nationalistic point of view this does not sit well with him.--I Pakapshem (talk) 19:35, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that the article be returned to its original state before Athenean made his revert and be protected from this type of reverts from happening again.--I Pakapshem (talk) 19:37, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(@Nishkid) I find the picture of the old man rather hideous, quite frankly, but that is my own personal aesthetic opinion. The other problem is that including no less than 3 Albanians wearing fustanella at the top of the article is POV pushing by insinuation. The article is full of it. Witness the other nonsense in the text about it being inherited from the Illyrians. Users like I Pakapshem want this image there to push the point that it is Albanian, Albanian, and by the way, Albanian. There are already 3 images of a fustanella. Isn't that enough? How many more do we need? --Athenean (talk) 21:00, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The fustanella is Albanian and this is in the article, cited, and you can't contest that so rather you focus on the wonderful picture. My personal opinion is that the greek version of the fustanella is rather hideous, ridiculous and resembles a miniskirt, but I am not asking for the greek picture to be removed. Get over your nationalistic point of view and leave the wonderful photo alone.--I Pakapshem (talk) 21:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed the edit war at Himarë about famous Himariots. Regarding Anagnosti: see the Albanian article. This does not connect him with Himara. Even the IMDB article thinks he was born in Vlore. Still, I think that there may be a chance to document some of the people further. I looked at the list from the Albanian article on Himara (below). The ones who were members of parliament we can surely justify including in the list, using official sites. Paskal Milo has an Albanian article and probably somebody could write an English article on him based on official web sites. Since we was the foreign minister, he is obviously notable. (There is even a short bio of him on a Council of Europe site). Also he is mentioned in books.google.com. Do you have the patience to document some of these people further? This might help resolve the war. I am pleased to note that translate.google.com can translate from Albanian to English. Unfortunately the Albanian WP articles haven't got many sources, but one could do fresh Google searches on the people below. EdJohnston (talk) 01:33, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
