Nippon is a fictitious location in the Warhammer Fantasy role playing games.

Nippon is an island off the coast of eastern Cathay roughly the equivalent of Ancient Japan as many lands correspond to real world counterparts. Nippon is also the native term for Japan. They are rumored to have samurai and monsters called Oni. Nippon is rumored to be ruled by rival shoguns vying for control of the land and are known for a fierce rivalry with Cathay. The Skaven of clan Eshin learned the art of ninjutsu from the people of nippon as are represented in their clans troops. Games Workshop has released little information pertaining to the eastern lands of Cathay, and the Kingdoms of Ind through background information.
