The 2024 edition will be the 9th appearance for the Indian cricket team, also known as Men in Blues. They are the winner of the 2007 edition and were the runner-up in the 2014 edition. They are among twenty teams competing in the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Squad

The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced its captain on 14 February 2024 and the squad on 30 April 2024.[1][2] Rohit Sharma is the most experienced player in the squad who has featured in every T20 World Cup edition and will be captaining the Indian side for the 2nd consecutive time, with Hardik Pandya accompanying him as the vice-captain.
