Henry, 3rd Duke of Guise (January 31, 1550 - December 23, 1588) was the son of Francis, Duke of Guise.
He was prominent in the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre in 1572. In 1576 he formed the Catholic League and used his great popularity in a prolonged attempt to seize the crown from Henry III of France.
He was assassinated by the King's bodyguard at Blois.
