Didi Lilo (Georgian: დიდი ლილო) is a daba (small town) in the country of Gerogia, located on the Iori plateau 45 KM north-west from the main town of Gardabani in the Gardabani Municipality. It has a population of around 2,400. In 1974, it was granted the status of city. It is a rural village, but still has basic facilities: schools, businesses and small agricultural industries, and it also has a cultural center and a medical center. The town is best known for being the birthplace of some members of the Stalin family, including Joseph Stalin's father Besarion Jughashvili and Stalin's first wife Kato Svanidze.
