Plot summary
Star Lord is a BattleTech novel set circa 3057 in the post-Truce of Tukayyid Inner Sphere involving a group of disparate mechwarriors thrown together by forces beyond their to face a colossal threat to the galaxy.[1]
Reception
Jim Swallow reviewed Star Lord for Arcane magazine, rating it a 5 out of 10 overall.[1] Swallow comments that "Most of the characters are pretty thinly drawn types, doggedly motivated by their quest for some kind of vengeance on Amaris, and while the fight scene set pieces are okay, the story occasionally meanders or makes jarring narrative leaps."[1]
