Summary

Description
English: Aerial view of Anthony Hordern & Sons, it was the largest department store in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Anthony Hordern's was also once the largest department store in the world. The historic building was demolished in the 1980s in order to build a skyscraper. The government minister at the time described the building as "gerry-built," which was why it was demolished.
