Yi Tung Shan (Chinese: 二東山) is the ninth highest mountain in Hong Kong. It is situated east of Sunset Peak on Lantau Island, and is 747 m in height.[1] Stage 2 of The Lantau Trail runs along the north side of its peak.[2]
Name
[edit]While Sunset Peak's Cantonese name Tai Tung Shan literally means "Big East Mountain", Yi Tung Shan (Chinese: 二東山; Jyutping: Ji6 Tung1 Saan1) literally means "Second East Mountain".

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
