Vergo is a village and a former municipality in the Vlorë County, southern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform, it became a subdivision of the Delvinë municipality.[1] The population at the 2011 census was 1,844.[2] The municipal unit consists of the villages Vergo, Tatzat, Kalasë, Fushë Vërri, Kopaçez, Qafë Dardhë (previously: Palavli) and Bajkaj inhabited by Muslim Albanians, and Senicë, populated by an Orthodox Albanian population, making up 94% and 6% of the total each.[3][4]
A Greek school was founded in Vergo by Orthodox missionary, Kosmas the Aetolian, at 1779.[5]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
