Roscoe Orman
[edit]Hi Zanimum, you protected Roscoe Orman 11 years ago with the rationale "unfavourable news, waiting for it to pass" – I guess it has probably passed by now? The last 50 edits go back to 2021 and show no particular pattern of problematic editing – the only reversions are of addition of uncontroversial unsourced information, of the sort that gets added to any article. Would you consider unprotecting? Best wishes, Wham2001 (talk) 10:33, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh my goodness, thanks for letting me know. I think I might have semi-protected it pre-emptively because of Kevin Clash? But there was no vandalism on Roscoe's page, despite the fact that they toured regularly as a duo act. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. -- Zanimum (talk) 23:28, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

The file File:Tv nbc meet the press with tim russert logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
There are so many logos on this page. Why do we need one more?
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 10:06, 14 April 2024 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know that you approved this article for creation in 2020, and it was previously deleted (as Vladimir Hirsch, for good reason. The article was created by his friends (who also happened to be blocked and or sockpuppets) of the musician to advertise him, and they have been doing this on other language Wikipedia pages as well, and they sourced numerous times with his own website, with blogs, and with discogs.com. The article as it exists now is basically the same article that was deleted and it does not meet notability standards and definitely is not sourced well enough to warrant being an article. I would guess that by looking at the edit history of User:Marespw, they may be another sockpuppet and their only goal was to make an article for him, they have editied Jan Dismas Zelenka just like many of the other socks of User:Jan Blanicky. (who, by the way, was literally the person who took the photo on his "article."- R9tgokunks ⭕ 08:54, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'm now noticing that the article was declined numerous times before, by, User:Sulfurboy, User:Robert McClenon, and User:I dream of horses. Upon looking further, when you approved the article, none of the sources were good. Out of the 20 sources, 9 of them were his official website, 1 was discogs, 1 was allmusic, 5 are Czech music blogs, 2 are "books," (improperly sourced), 1 is a video of his political opinions, and 1 is a Google Books preview which is not visible. All of these sources are still the bulk of the article, and 1 has been added which is a paywalled academia.edu article. I'm curious why you decided to approve it, considering all of this. - R9tgokunks ⭕ 09:15, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- @R9tgokunks I've gone ahead and nominated the article for deletion, mentioning the sockpuppets and meatpuppets, along with the sourcing issues. We'll see what happens; either the article will get deleted, or better sources will be swiftly found. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 18:31, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there,
- It appears there is a significant misunderstanding and bias regarding Vladimír Hirsch and his extensive body of work. There seems to be confusion about who Jan Blanicky is and the legitimacy of my contributions. Unlike some editors, I do not hide behind anonymity, and you are welcome to verify it.
- I want to address a few points:
- Bias and Misunderstanding:
- There seems to be a strong bias against Vladimír Hirsch, despite his substantial discography and extensive collaborations. I encourage you to review his complete body of work and its impact in the field.
- Notability and Sourcing:
- While you have raised concerns about the sources used, it's important to recognize that not all sources were given due consideration. (see point 4 too)
- Political Opinions vs. Language Issues:
- The mention of "political opinions" is not relevant to the notability of the subject. Conflating language issues with political opinions can lead to a skewed evaluation. It’s important to maintain objectivity and focus on verifiable information.
- Broader Context:
- Wikipedia hosts many articles that may contain promotional content or misinformation. However, the goal should be to improve the quality of all articles, including this one, rather than unjustly targeting specific subjects.
- Bias and Misunderstanding:
- I am committed to working collaboratively to ensure the Vladimír Hirsch article meets Wikipedia’s standards. I welcome any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback and am open to discussing how we can enhance the article with reliable, third-party sources.
- Thank you for your attention to this matter. Marespw (talk) 12:16, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
