Macedonian music

[edit]

Hi, your bot has changed a category Macedonian music to Music of North Macedonia. Macedonian music encompasses Slavic settlements that are not just in North Macedonia but in Northern Greece and West Bulgaria as well. There are Ethnic Macedonians there as well with their distinct melos that is part of our broader folk tradition. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq8X0AkRADM This is a folk song from the Kastoria region it is considered as one of our more popular macedonian songs, these ladies are dressed in Macedonian folk attire from the region of Kastoria. Here is another band https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8FS11-QUUW0 it's called Visoka and it's from Kavala, Greece they together with the band Chepkalo Project form a continuum of Macedonian music that is not just within the border of the country North Macedonia. Can you please change it back to Macedonian music as it is already a sensitive subject. Although the name change is a fact per the Prespa Agreement signed with Greece the Macedonian denonnym is not affected and the fact is that there is Macedonian minorities that speak Macedonian language beyond the borders the music should be Macedonian music and not Music of North Macedonia.

Kind regards Justwowman a Macedonian. Justwowman (talk) 05:24, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The category was moved back in April. Regardless, see the notice at the top of this page. — JJMC89 05:40, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This doesn't answer anything nor it is close to reality and facts. Justwowman (talk) 10:01, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't intended to answer anything. It points you to the notice that identifies who you should be discussing the issue with (not me). My bot automatically processes instructions from other admins. I had nothing to to with the category being renamed. — JJMC89 18:48, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Images removed from List of African-American Firsts page. Those images were already in the wikipedia library, so perhaps they should be deleted from that library if there are copyright issues? ProfessorKaiFlai (talk) 07:28, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
