Biographical Sketch

I created this account to participate in Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Meetup/Feminists Engage Wikipedia. I'm an academic whose work deals with literature, eighteenth-century studies, feminist theory/gender studies, Orientalism, transatlantic studies, Mediterranean studies, post-colonial studies, and a bit of digital humanities. This is mainly a practice account that I hope to replace as I work more on Wikipedia, or think of a better user name.

I helped organize Writing for Wadewitz: an Adrianne Wadewitz Memorial Edit-a-thon (Summer 2014)

Since then, I have led the following edit-a-thons:

I am currently in the planning stages for an Edit-A-Thon on African American Classicists (because Frank M Snowden's page needs so much work!)

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
