The Textile Museum Sarawak (Malay: Muzium Tekstil Sarawak) is a textile museum in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
History
[edit]The museum building was originally built in 1907 as medical center. It was then later housed the Education Department of Sarawak State Government. In August 2000, it was eventually turned into the Textile Museum Sarawak.[1]
Architecture
[edit]The museum is housed in a 3-story building with colonial British renaissance theme named the Pavilion Building.[2] The upper two floors house the permanent exhibition.[1]
Exhibitions
[edit]The museum displays the textiles made by local communities in Sarawak, as well as traditional costumes and accessories. It also showcases the stages of textile manufacturing processes.[2][3]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
