Cannabaceae

  • Temürtas was also the name of another Chupanid; see Timurtash.

Temürtas was the eldest son of the Chupanids prince Malek Ashraf.

Profile[edit]

In 1357, Temürtas' father was executed by the forces of the Blue Horde under Jani Beg, and his lands were annexed by the Mongols. In 1360 Temürtas made a bid for the former Chupanid lands, which had by this time fallen into the hands of the Jalayirid Sultanate of Baghdad under Shaykh Uways Jalayir. Hizr, who became khan of the Blue Horde that same year, initially assisted him, but afterwards changed his mind and handed him over to Uways.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
