Does the production of /g/ and/k/ really involve 'interaction' between the tongue and the hard palate?

No, production of /g/ and /k/ involves the tongue and the soft palate, behind the hard palate. 87.74.69.224 06:06, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2 years has elapsed since this comment, and the article remains a stub. Time to merge soft palate, hard palate, and palate into one article? DiverDave (talk) 05:02, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
