The university was established in 2011 and it is approved by the University Grants Commission.[1][2]

History[edit]

The university was established by the Act of Madhya Pradesh State Legislature and notified in its Official Gazette as The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Staphana Avam Sanchalan) Tritiya Sansodhan Adhiniyam (Act No.44 of 2011- 31 December 2011).[3]

Courses[edit]

The university offers both under-graduate and postgraduate courses in various fields such as engineering, law, education, pharmacy, commerce, arts and science.[4]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
