In Mexico, the Secretariat of Economy (Spanish: Secretaría de Economía; abbreviated "SE") is the government department in charge of matters related to the economy. The Secretary of Economy is a member of the federal executive cabinet appointed by the President of the Republic.

Until 2000 the name of the Secretariat of Economy was the Secretariat of Commerce and Industrial Development (Secofi) but that name was changed when Vicente Fox acceded to the presidency.

Marcelo Ebrard was designated to serve in the position by President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum on 20 June 2024.[3]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
