Satai (/sətə/) is a town and a nagar panchayat in Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Satai had a population of 8293. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Satai has an average literacy rate of 40%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 52%, and female literacy is 27%. In Satai, 21% of the population is under 6 years of age.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
