Rovellasca is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Como.
Rovellasca borders the following municipalities: Bregnano, Lazzate, Lomazzo, Misinto, Rovello Porro.
Physician and zoologist Giovanni Battista Grassi was born in Rovellasca.

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns.
