Roissy-en-Brie (French pronunciation: [ʁwasi ɑ̃ bʁi] , literally Roissy in Brie) is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France and is located in the eastern suburbs of Paris, 23.4 km (14.5 mi) from the center.

History

In 1810 Roissy-en-Brie annexed the neighboring commune of Pontcarré. In 1829 Pontcarré seceded and was restored as a separate commune.[3][4]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
