Now Kandeh (Persian: نوکنده)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Now Kandeh District of Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran.[4] The people of Now Kandeh speak the Mazandarani language.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 7,601 in 2,058 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 7,155 people in 2,220 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,650 people in 2,316 households.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
