Neapoli (Greek: Νεάπολη, "New Town") is a town in the Kozani regional unit of West Macedonia in northern Greece. A former municipality, it has been a municipal unit of Voio since the 2011 local government reform.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 238.277 km2, the community 22.001 km2.[3] The municipal unit has a population of 3,246 while the community has 2,063 inhabitants (2021).[1]
History
[edit]In antiquity, the city was known as Palladium. Under the Byzantine Empire, it was known as Anaselitsa (Medieval Greek: Ανασελίτσα, Anaselítsa). Under Turkish rule, it was known as Nasliç (ناسليچ)[4] and had a large population of Greek Muslims referred to by locals as Vallahades.

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
