NGC 3305 is an elliptical galaxy located about 190 million light-years away[2] in the constellation Hydra.[3] The galaxy was discovered by astronomer John Herschel on March 24, 1835.[4][5] NGC 3305 is a member of the Hydra Cluster.[6]

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
