M'Tarfa is a town and commune in M'Sila Province, Algeria. The commune is approximately 223 square kilometers in area. According to the 1998 census it has a population of 7,621.[1] The 2008 census showed that the population had increased to 8,704, an increase of +0.59% per year.[2] The commune has a desert climate and receives very little rainfall.[3]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
