Khuniq (Persian: خونيق)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Goyjah Bel Rural District of the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

Demographics[edit]

Population[edit]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 783 in 167 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 650 people in 170 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 647 people in 198 households.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
