Kempes Waldemar Tekiela (born 15 October 1997) is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for USL League One club One Knoxville.[1]
Early life
[edit]Tekiela is a native of Iserlohn, Germany.[2] He is of Polish descent.[3]
Career
[edit]In 2019, Tekiela signed for Luxembourgian side Progrès Niederkorn, where he was described as "perhaps slowly establishing himself as the most formidable goalscorer that Niederkorn has had in a long time".[4]
Tekiela joined American USL League One club One Knoxville on 17 January 2024.[5]
Style of play
[edit]Tekiela mainly operates as a striker and is left-footed.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Tekiela has a sister.[7] He has dated Germany's Next Topmodel contestant Elisa Schattenberg.[8]
