Kankakee Township is one of thirteen townships in Jasper County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 913 (down from 988 at 2010[2]) and it contained 354 housing units.
Kankakee Township was established in 1856.[3]
Geography
[edit]According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 25.97 square miles (67.3 km2), of which 25.27 square miles (65.4 km2) (or 97.30%) is land and 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2) (or 2.70%) is water.[2]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
