Jimmy Kerr (1919 – 27 May 2001)[1] was a Scottish football goalkeeper, who played for Hibernian and Queen of the South.

Career

[edit]

Kerr appeared for Hibernian in the 1947 Scottish Cup Final and helped the club win the 1947–48 Scottish League championship.[1] His good form for Hibs caused understudy George Farm to leave Hibs for Blackpool.[1]

After retiring as a player, Kerr went into business with Tom Hart.[1] Kerr, like Hart, served on the Hibs board of directors.[1]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
