Jarqavieh County (Persian: شهرستان جرقویه) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nikabad,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 4,364 people in 1,442 households.[3]

History[edit]

In 2021, Jarqavieh Olya District and Jarqavieh Sofla District were separated from Isfahan County in the establishment of Jarqavieh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Nikabad as its capital.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
