Jacob Hook (born 21 August 2002) is a speedway rider from Australia.[1][2]

Speedway career[edit]

Hook began riding at the North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club and impressed in Australian junior racing.[3] He began his British speedway career riding for the Edinburgh Monarchs in the SGB Championship 2022.[1][4] Hook's 2020 & 2021 seasons were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic before he joined the Monarchs.[5]

In 2023, he re-signed for Edinburgh in the SGB Championship 2023[6] and also signed for Edinburgh's NDL academy side. He was later dropped by the first team.[7]

He signed for the Plymouth Gladiators for the 2024 season.[8]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
