IC 3441 is a type ES-0 lenticular galaxy with a bar[1] located 880 million light-years away from the Solar System in the constellation of Coma Berenices.[2][3] IC 3441 was discovered on March 23, 1903, by the astronomer Max Wolf[4] and it does not have an active galactic nucleus or an indication of star formation.[5]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
