Hijiyama University (比治山大学, Hijiyama daigaku) is a private university in Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan. The predecessor of the school was established in 1939, and it was chartered as a university in 1994.

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
