Gregorovce (Hungarian: Gergelylaka) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1248.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 326 metres and covers an area of 9.9 km2 (3.8 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]

Population

It has a population of about 879 people (2020-12-31).[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
