Friendly is a settlement near Sowerby Bridge in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, England, lying on the A646 road in the valley of the River Calder. It was described in Bartholomew's 1887 Gazetteer of the British Isles as a village 3 miles west of Halifax.[1]
It is the home of The Friendly Band, a brass band founded in 1868,[2] and has two pubs, the White Horse[3] and The Friendly Inn.[4]
Government
[edit]The settlement straddles the boundary of the Sowerby Bridge, Warley and Luddenden wards of the Metropolitan borough of Calderdale, part of the Metropolitan county of West Yorkshire.[5]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
