Summary

Description
English: The production rule is (a ↦ ac) (b ↦ ab) (c ↦ b) with initiator c, iterated for 27 generations. The incidence matrix M [1,1,0; 0,1,1; 1,0,0] has characteristic polynomial f(x) = x3 − 2x2 + x − 1 and dominant eigenvalue λ = ρ2 ≈ 1.75488 (the plastic ratio-squared). See OEIS: Bisection of the Padovan sequence. The central tile and its three subtiles have areas in the ratios ρ5 : ρ2 : ρ : 1. The viewport width is 2 and the origin is at the cross.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
