English: A 21 kiloton underwater nuclear weapons effects test, known as Operation CROSSROADS (Event Baker), conducted at Bikini Atoll (1946).
Deutsch: Operation Crossroads - Baker: Unterseeische Explosion aus 27 Meter Tiefe. Am Rand sind Wilson-Kondensationswolken zu erkennen, die hinter der Druckwelle entstehen. Die Druckwelle ist die weiße Scheibe über dem Wasser, sie bewegt sich mit 1100 km/h.
Русский: Операция «Перекрёсток» (англ. Crossroads). Объект «Бэйкер», мощностью 23 (в других источниках - 21) килотонны был взорван на глубине 27 м под водой 25 июля 1946 года. Показана белая поверхность воды, потревоженной воздушной ударной волной, и верх полой колонны брызг, образовавшей полусферическое облако Вильсона. На заднем плане - берег атолла Бикини.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
