Description
English: Bhooja or Bhoonja is a popular North Indian snack eaten in the late afternoon or before the evening tea. Although bhooja is made of several grains, rice bhooja and gram bhooja are very popular. It is eaten with red chilly pickle, salt and jaggery. In winter, people enjoy bhooja with roasted potato and green chutney made with garlic leaf, salt, pudina, dhaniya and green chilly.

While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
