English: Buildings in downtown Alliance, Nebraska. The three-story building at left is the Newberry Hardward Co. building, built in 1914, located at 402 Box Butte Avenue. The low building in the center is at 406 Box Butte Avenue, built ca. 1897. At right is the Alliance Theater, at 410 Box Butte Avenue, built in 1937. The water tower partially visible behind the theater is atop the Newberry building. The buildings are contributing properties in the Alliance Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
