Summary

Description Love this! Set on ceramic tiles, this beautiful monochrome mosaic shows a ship 'Retriever' arriving in Newfoundland in 1892 with her precious cargo of port wine. It was a wonder how boats sailed out of Portugal totally out of the way to Newfoundland and then again all the way to England all because of an accidental discovery that wine stored here takes on an unbeatable flavour. (see previous captions), Notes about the Newman Wine Vaults appear in previous and subsequent captions in this album. (St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, June 2015)

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
