Ferenc Varga (3 July 1925 – 17 January 2023) was a Hungarian canoe sprinter who competed in the early to mid-1950s. He won a bronze medal in the K-2 10000 m event at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki.[1]

Varga also won a bronze medal in the K-4 10000 m event at the 1954 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Mâcon.

Varga died on 17 January 2023, at the age of 97.[2]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
