Dudiyan (Arabic: دوديان, romanized: Dūdīyān; Turkish: Düden[2]) is a village in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. About 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of the city of Aleppo and just 4 km (2.5 mi) south of Syria's border with Turkey, it is administratively part of Nahiya Akhtarin of Azaz District. Nearby localities include Baraghida 7 km (4.3 mi) to the west and Tat Hims 9 km (5.6 mi) to the east. In the 2004 census, Dudiyan had a population of 1,164.[1]Traveler Martin Hartmann noted the village as a Turkmen village in late 19th century.[2]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
