Drevvatnet is a lake that lies in the municipality of Vefsn in Nordland county, Norway. The village of Drevvassbygda lies at the northeastern end of the 4.93-square-kilometre (1.90 sq mi) lake, in the Drevjedalen valley. The Nordland Line railway follows the southern coast of the lake.[1]

Name

The first element is the name of the river Drevja and the last element is the finite form of vatn which means "lake".

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
