Desmond Herbert Lukehurst (born 6 May 1937) known as Des Lukehurst is an English former motorcycle speedway rider.[1][2][3]

Speedway career

Lukehurst rode in the top two tiers of British Speedway from 1965 to 1970, riding for various clubs.[4] In 1969, he topped the league averages during the 1969 British League Division Two season.[2][5]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
