Condorodon is a genus of extinct mammals from the Lower Jurassic Cañadón Asfalto Formation of the Cañadón Asfalto Basin in Patagonia, Argentina. The type species is C. spanios, described by Gaetano and Rougier in 2012.
Classification
[edit]One of the only two known South American eutriconodonts, Condorodon differs from the somewhat older Argentoconodon, a relative of Volaticotherium, in the morphology of the molariform teeth. It is closely related to the Late Jurassic amphilesthere Tendagurodon from the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania, Africa.[2]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
