Can Yılmaz Uzun (born 11 November 2005) is a Turkish-German professional footballer who plays as a attacking midfielder for Eintracht Frankfurt.[3] Born in Germany, he plays for the Turkey national team.[2]
Club career

[edit]Uzun was called up to 1. FC Nürnberg II in April 2023,[2] where he scored a goal in four appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern,[4] and 1. FC Nürnberg in May 2023,[2] where he made three appearances in the 2. Bundesliga.[4] Uzun scored three goals in the first round of the 2023–24 DFB-Pokal, helping Nürnberg to a convincing 9–1 victory against fifth-tier club FC Oberneuland in the first round of the tournament.[5] In May 2024, at the end of the 2023–24 season, Uzun announced he would leave 1. FC Nürnberg, with reports linking him with a move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.[6]

[edit]On 2 July 2024, he signed 5 years contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.[7]
International career
[edit]Born in Germany, Uzun is of Turkish descent with roots in Rize. He is a youth international for Turkey, having played up to the Turkey U18s.[1] On 22 March 2024, he made a debut in the Turkey national team in a 1–0 friendly loss against Hungary.[8]
