Burr Gymnasium is a multi-purpose arena in Washington, D.C., which opened in 1963.[1] It is home to the Howard University Bison men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. It is named after John Harold Burr Jr., chairman of the physical education department from 1923 to 1958.[2] It has a seating capacity of 2,700.[3]

The Burr Gymnasium Pool located in the gym is home to the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
