Bryan West (born 7 June 1948)[2] is a former England international rugby union and rugby league player.

He was capped eight times as a flanker for England between 1968 and 1970.[3]

West was selected for the 1968 British Lions tour to South Africa but did not play in any of the international matches against South Africa.

He played club rugby for Northampton, and in 1970 moved north to play rugby league for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage No. 767).[4]

Bryan West was a teacher at Trinity School in Northampton.[5]

  1. Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
