Aqqala County (Persian: شهرستان آققلا) is in Golestan Province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Aqqala.[3]

Population[edit]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 109,440 in 22,804 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 124,185 people in 31,817 households.[5] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 132,733 in 35,989 households.[2]

Well, that’s interesting to know that Psilotum nudum are known as whisk ferns. Psilotum nudum is the commoner species of the two. While the P. flaccidum is a rare species and is found in the tropical islands. Both the species are usually epiphytic in habit and grow upon tree ferns. These species may also be terrestrial and grow in humus or in the crevices of the rocks.
